iVOS Review Service
iVOS Review Service utilizes our fully integrated browser-based medical bill review
system within iVOS. We ensure that all provider charges are properly recorded and then
repriced correctly. This includes achieving the maximum savings through the use of fee
schedules and rules, PPO contracts, and utilization review. At the same time, improving
workflow, eliminating the external transfer of data files and helping you reduce
operational costs. Key functions of iVOS Review Service include:
- Full compliance with state fee schedule regulations
- Use of current fee schedules and rules for pricing
- Include direct and customized PPO agreements
- Allocation of all expenses to the associated claim
- Paperless processing of bills
- Comprehensive reason codes on all denied or adjusted bill lines
- Reconsideration requests fully handled by the iVOS Review Service staff
- Duplicate checking - identify partial and full duplicates
Document Imaging
On the front end of iVOS Review Service, bills are scanned directly into the system, and
attached to and stored with the appropriate claim. Document imaging allows for a
"paperless" office. The documents are stored in your claims database. This provides a
convenient method for keeping all claims materials together and provides auditors with
clean, comprehensive electronic files that are easy to examine. In addition, you are
ensured that the scanned documents receive the same "back-up" protection that your
claims database receives.
Medical Management
The Medical Management Module provides the tools to actively manage multiple
episodes of care with multiple treatment providers. It tracks diagnosis and treatment
plans, manages cost prior to being billed, provides data to measure savings of medical
and indemnity payments and to measure overall effectiveness of nurse case management
programs.
