Valley Oak Systems Announces iVOS™ - Truly Web-Based Claims Administration Software

Alamo, CA - September 12, 2002- Valley Oak Systems, Inc. (VOS), a national provider of claims administration software, services, and support, today unveils its new product, iVOS - truly web-based claims administration software that is browser-based allowing users ease of access through the Internet. The system is Java™-based (J2EE™ compliant) requiring no middle-ware (e.g. Citrix®), no software distribution to individual computers, and is available as a client hosted or ASP solution.

Responding to both client and market requirements, Valley Oak Systems has developed iVOS to provide their clients with superior technology and functionality. "As many IT managers are moving their client/server applications to the web and phasing out support for older technology, they are demanding a true web developed answer not web-enabled solutions using Visual Basic, Powerbuilder, or Delphi" says Randy Wheeler, CEO of Valley Oak Systems. "Switching to a true-web based solution not only reduces overall cost and maintenance, but it also provides better performance and functionality."

Maintaining the position as a leader in product functionality in Claims Administration Software, Robert Faulhaber, President of Valley Oak Systems, states "implementing a full featured claims administration system using the newest standard web technology will keep Valley Oak Systems as the leader in our industry. iVOS will provide our clients with the ability to implement web technology, achieving significant financial and operational benefits, with no disruption to their current claims processing operation."

About iVOS
iVOS is a web-based claims administration system designed for multiple lines of insurance. The system is highly configurable and can be customized to meet any organization's needs. In addition to the base features, iVOS supports EDI (IAIABC) for State Reporting Requirement, document imaging, and forms and letter generation for all jurisdictions as well as client defined. The system interfaces with PRDP, ISO ClaimSearch® (Index Bureau), Employee and Accounts Payable systems. iVOS has been designed to enable claims personnel to perform their duties as efficiently as possible.
