San Ramon, CA October 19, 2005 Valley Oak Systems, Inc., a national
provider of claims management software, services and support, today announced that it "made the
list" - the 2005 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology
companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over five years,
from 2000-2004. Valley Oak Systems grew 493 percent during this period.
Randy Wheeler, founder and CEO of Valley Oak Systems, credits this phenomenal growth to the
company's customer-centric philosophy and business-focused technology solutions. He said,
"Customer-centricity means our customers are the center of our business strategy, and we are
committed to developing the software, services and support that meet their needs and objectives.
By fostering true client relationships, our software can positively impact their performance and
bottom line results. As their needs change, we continually update our solutions."
"Attracting enough customers to attain such fast growth over five years makes a strong statement
about the quality of a company's product and its leadership," said Tony Kern, deputy national
managing principal of Deloitte's Technology, Media & Telecommunications industry practice.
"Valley Oak Systems has shown the right stuff for growth."
In addition to ranking on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500, Valley Oak Systems ranked number 32 on
the Silicon Valley Technology Fast 50, which is a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology
firms in Silicon Valley.
