Valley Oak Systems To Provide iVOS™ Software to Catholic Healthcare West,
System to Improve Risk Management and Patient Safety
Events Reporting Module Improves Patient Safety, Reduces Claims
San Ramon, CA, October 29, 2004 — Valley Oak Systems announced today that
Catholic Healthcare West (CHW), the eighth largest hospital system in the United States, has
selected iVOS, Valley Oak Systems' browser-based claims management software solution, to
manage its professional liability risks for all 42 hospitals. iVOS will streamline CHW's claims
processes and help manage overall costs. The system also features an events reporting module to
enable hospital personnel to easily log events that occur to effectively report, track, and develop
