Aon and Valley Oak Systems (VOS) are pleased to announce the successful completion of the acquisition and inclusion of VOS into the Aon eSolutions Group.
Based in San Ramon, Calif., VOS is the leader in claims management software, services, and support for the insurance industry. Following the acquisition, VOS will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary.
VOS marks a tremendous new addition to the Aon suite of risk management solutions. The company achieved a tremendous growth rate of 500 percent over the last five years, and its iVOS® claims management system has earned numerous industry accolades for both its innovative product design and significant business impact in the industry. The acquisition will allow VOS to become a part of an international corporation.
Aon is a Fortune 250 company and was recognized this year as being the world’s largest pure placements insurance broker. Aon has a tremendous global network of more than 500 offices in 120 countries dedicated to providing innovative solutions in insurance and reinsurance brokerage, risk management and human capital consulting that add distinctive value to clients’ business. Moving forward, VOS will be able to leverage Aon’s premier network to accelerate growth and globalize its iVOS solution.
Our integrated businesses are now poised to be the premier provider of global risk and insurance technology solutions. We'd like to take this opportunity to briefly familiarize Aon and VOS clients with each company's respective technology solutions:
- Aon eSolutions offers RiskConsole (www.aonriskconsole.com), the leading risk management information system (RMIS), targeted towards risk management reporting and consolidation of exposure, policy and claims information from various sources including iVOS. eSolutions also provides AonLine, a risk management portal for documentation, market news and collaboration.
- Valley Oak's flagship product, iVOS (www.valleyoak.com), is a "one-system" browser-based solution that encompasses claims management, medical bill review, policy administration, case management, billing, events management, and other related insurance functions for multiple lines of insurance.
Independently, RiskConsole and iVOS will continue to operate as dominant solutions in their respective markets, but together they provide the only end-to-end browser-based risk and claims management offering in the global market. Both products will continue to support all existing functions and modules, providing each company's clients and prospects with a broader range of claims and risk management options.
