Valley Oak Systems (VOS), a leader in claims management and bill review software and services, is looking for a qualified candidate who will be responsible for the following:
  • Develop and deliver technical training courses and associated materials to Valley Oak Systems customers and employees.
  • Planning, developing, implementing and evaluating current and new training programs ensuring that strategic goals are met.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with various departments including Sales, Product Marketing, and Engineering to ensure accurate understanding of training requirements, isolate specific needs, and identify training outcomes.
  • Managing customer and employee training activities, educating the use of Valley Oak products, aligning programs with company/customer objectives.
  • Courseware Design includes in-depth technical content, labs and exercises, course module development, video tutorials etc.
  • Detailed understanding of iVOS product use and application, and analysis of the technology to the component level.
  • Track and capture product changes in training programs; communicating feedback or product ideas obtained from training programs.
The ideal candidate will have
  • 2+ years in training, curriculum development and presentation experience in the high-tech field.
  • Knowledge of the Insurance Industry (Claims Management or Workmans Comp) required.
  • Technical knowledge in OS/network systems (Win 95/98/NT, UNIX, Linux) ASP, and web servers.
  • Excellent communication and polished presentation skills, familiar with a variety of training styles, approaches and project planning methodologies.
  • A related post-secondary degree or training in curriculum development and presentation techniques preferred.
