Valley Oak Systems (VOS), a leader in claims management and bill review software and services, is
looking for an experienced, qualified J2EE Operations Engineer. This position will have
responsibility for stabilizing our ASP Environment, and analyzing client performance issues.
This position reports to our Director of Support. This is a full time position that pays salary
and bonus.
The ideal ASP Operations Candidate will be responsible for maintenance and support of our ASP,
and general production system administration.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience of deploying and maintaining a J2EE application server in a high-availability production environment.
Experience with Tomcat ideally, however BEA Weblogic Server / IBM Websphere / JBoss also works.
Flexibility of working hours.
Strong experience in communication with people at all levels within an organization.
Strong UNIX/LINUX knowledge.
Strong SQL/RDMS experience in Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server (not DBA level).
