Valley Oak Systems (VOS), a leader in claims management and bill review software and services, is
looking for a qualified candidate who will be responsible for the following:
- Track changes to the State Bill Review schedules and rules for all jurisdictions.
- Write business specifications that define how to implement bill review functionality and workflow, including re-pricing scenarios.
- Investigate, analyze, and document your conclusions of various Bill Review business scenarios in question.
- Ensure all Bill Review Clients have the current bill review data.
- Track and implement updates as required.
- Work with QA and Support groups in validating bug-fixes, researching reported problems, and tracking system changes.
- Design any required bill review reports, utilize proprietary reporting tool to code the designed reports, implement and set up reports to run automatically.
- As needed, provide consultative technical Bill Review expertise to internal customers and potential external customers via sales support.
The ideal Technical Business Analyst candidate must have:
- BS Degree (Math or Statistics preferred) and 3+ years Oracle or SQL Server database experience.
- Ability to read Java code is desirable.
- Strong time management and business skills.
- Strong ability to write and debug SQL scripts.
- Experience with J2EE software deployment a plus.
- Familiarity with ClearQuest, Heat, or other Defect Tracking programs.
- Experience in troubleshooting errors.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Insurance industry experience a plus.
- Enterprise Software Industry experience a plus.
